Bonsai obsession

I'm obsessed with bonsai trees and I've learned that the gnarled roots of a bonsai are called the 'nebari' - and the more lumpy and twisted the nebari are, the more desirable the tree.

Temari

For a while a few years ago I was obsessed with the Japanese art of temari. Here's one of my projects.

An etching

I think this value inverted shot of a green candle looks sort of like a tin etching.

Coral or snow?

Depending on which way your turn it, a tree covered with wet snow might actually be a piece of coral in a large fish tank. Which is real?
